About Kerry O'Shea Devine, Esq.
Kerry O'Shea Devine has been practicing law in New Jersey since 1997 and New York since 1999. A graduate of Villanova University School of Law, she is pursuing an LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and brings more than 25 years of legal experience to every estate plan she designs.
Kerry founded Kerry Devine Law in 2022 to provide concierge estate planning services to families across New Jersey and New York — combining the depth of a large-firm background with the personal attention only a boutique practice can offer. She enjoys sitting down with clients, learning all about their families and goals, and crafting plans that give them genuine peace of mind.
Her background is unusually broad. Before focusing on estate planning, Kerry practiced environmental litigation at Carpenter, Bennett and Morrissey in Newark, representing corporate clients in complex compliance and litigation matters. That experience taught her to spot problems before they arise — which is exactly what great estate planning requires. Earlier in her career, she clerked at the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and interned for New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Daniel J. O'Hern.
Her background as a paralegal, an artist, and a mother of five has made Kerry an exceptionally organized and compassionate lawyer — detail-oriented and creative in equal measure, with a calm ability to adapt to whatever a client's situation requires.
Kerry lives in Monmouth County, New Jersey with her husband Donald and their five children, three dogs, and two cats. Outside the office, she is a lifelong student of oil and watercolor painting, French language and culture, and the practice of yoga.
